Jr Product Manager
Location : On-Site
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience : 0–2 years (Freshers welcome)
Tech Inject is hiring a Jr Product Manager to help turn user needs into clear requirements and useful software. You will work with design, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to understand problems, support delivery, and check whether released features solve the intended need.
This is an early-career role with guidance from senior team members. You will own the clarity and follow-through of assigned features, while larger roadmap, commercial, and technical decisions are reviewed with the team.
What you will do
- Understand users: join discovery calls, ask follow-up questions, map workflows, and turn feedback into clear problem statements.
- Write concise PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria covering the user goal, expected behaviour, scope, and important edge cases.
- Work with designers on user flows and simple wireframes; review proposed experiences against the problem being solved.
- Keep the backlog organised, break work into manageable pieces, and recommend priorities using user impact, urgency, effort, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with engineering and QA, clarify open questions, track decisions and blockers, and communicate changes to scope or timelines early.
- Support user acceptance testing and releases: check features against acceptance criteria, document issues, and prepare clear release notes.
- Track basic product measures and user feedback after release; suggest improvements based on evidence.
- Use AI tools to assist research synthesis, first drafts, and workflow documentation, while verifying facts and taking responsibility for the final output.
What we are looking for
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in product management, business analysis, project coordination, QA, or software delivery. Freshers with a relevant internship, college project, or product case study are welcome.
- Clear written and spoken communication, active listening, and the ability to explain a problem simply.
- Structured thinking: distinguish a user problem from a requested solution, identify assumptions, and ask useful questions.
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail in requirements, meeting notes, action items, and release checks.
- Basic understanding of how web or mobile software is designed, built, tested, and released; coding is not required.
- Comfort with documents, spreadsheets, and a task-management tool such as Jira, Linear, Trello, or an equivalent; willingness to learn the team’s tools.
- Ability to read simple charts and spreadsheets, define a useful success metric, and explain what the data does and does not show.
Useful experience
- Writing user stories or a PRD, running a user interview, reviewing a prototype in Figma, or participating in UAT.
- Exposure to SaaS, business workflows, or client-facing software projects.
What good performance looks like
- Assigned features have clear requirements and acceptance criteria before development begins.
- Decisions, owners, dependencies, and blockers are visible, with timely follow-up and fewer repeated clarification gaps.
- Released features are checked against the original user need, and feedback is captured for the next improvement.
